Year 3 & 4 were extremely lucky this week to be visited by Team GB athlete Lily Beckford. Lily spoke to us about her journey to becoming a team GB middle distance running and the dedication and enthusiasm she needed to keep going. Then each class got to spend some time with her on our running track having a go at some sprinting drills. She then showed us her Gold & Silver medals - what an inspiration!
