On Monday, children in Reception had a very exciting visit from the team at the Esher Fire Brigade! The firefighters told us all about their important job and the many ways they help keep people safe in our community.

The children loved learning about the different equipment firefighters use and hearing about what happens when they are called to an emergency. The highlight of the day was when the children had the chance to try spraying water with the fire hose themselves — there were lots of smiles and laughter!

It was a fantastic, hands-on experience and a memorable day for everyone in Reception. A big thank you to the firefighters for taking the time to visit and inspire us!
