Year 5 visited the local synagogue to enhance their learning of the Jewish faith in their RE learning. The children heard about how Jewish people gather, study and pray there. The “oooh”’s and “ahhhh”’s could be heard as they revealed the Torah scrolls behind the Ark!

Chloe – “The Ark looked very cool and it was very decorative.”

Araliya – “The mosaic was very interesting.”

Nil – “I liked how they had a shop there.”

Alicia – “It was sweet that they had made a Torah scroll in memory of someone.”
