On Thursday afternoon, 26 children from Years 5 and 6 went to the Old Cranleighan’s Rugby ground to take part in a rugby festival. We had two boys teams and one girls team who played numerous matches throughout the afternoon. The aim of the festival was for children to experience competitive sport, learn new skills, work as a team and ultimately- have fun! They certainly achieved this and even came home with medals. They also got the chance to meet Harlequins women’s rugby team player Rosie Galligan who led a warm up for all the children!
