Larch and Rowan class were extremely lucky this week to receive a special visit from Sienna and Alycia’s dad, Mr Mclean, who shared his experiences from his long career in the army protecting people all over the world.  He also explained his role in both Prince Philip’s and the Queen’s funerals.  We learnt about the hard work required with long hours of practice to ensure that events go perfectly on the day when the eyes of the world our watching.  He kindly allowed the children to try on his Canadian Black Bear skin hats and see all of the medals he’s been awarded.
