Our First Week in Year 1 

Year 1 have had a very busy, exciting first week back. We have been learning our school values through stories and practising these through a wide variety of activities. We've shown determination when drawing starry sky photos and when catching stars in a water tray using tweezers. When making fairy houses in our woodland area, we were considerate towards each other so we could work well as a team. The Year 1 team have been so impressed with the children's confidence coming in in the mornings and they have definitely shown enthusiasm each day. Next week, we will be meeting a man who works on the moon in our English lessons and showing our understanding of numbers within ten outdoors in the woodland area.
