Girl's Cricket Tournament

On Tuesday, 8 girls from Year 5 and 6 went to Claygate cricket green to take part in the Elmbridge Girls' Cricket Tournament. They played 3 matches against Thames Ditton, Royal Kent and Charles Borromeo and although they didn’t make it through to the next round, the girls played some fantastic cricket. Many sixes and fours were scored and the girls got plenty of wickets too. As they rotated around the pitch, they all had a turn at bowling, fielding and batting. Well done to all the girls who represented our school wonderfully, showing the spirit of fair play and positivity. Huge thanks need to go to Miss Jayne and Miss Tizzard for their ongoing commitment to enabling our children to participate in such a wide variety of sporting events.
