Surrey U11 Cup Final

The Year 6 Girls’ Football Team played in the Surrey U11 cup final this afternoon and won 1-0! It was a nail-biting game but the girls kept pushing, showing real grit and determination. After many attempts, they finally scored a goal, late into the second half. It was a well-deserved win and the girls showed tremendous sportsmanship throughout. They came back to school victorious, with a new addition for our trophy cabinet! Congratulations to the team and a big thank you to Fontana Soccer for running their training sessions throughout the year and to all the parents who have supported them throughout all their matches.
